On Thursday, November 12th , I’m thrilled to be the featured speaker during their Veteran’s Day annual Field of Valor Community Luncheon ceremony, sponsored by the Covina chapter of Rotary International. Here are the details:
Among the topics of my remarks: The busy lives of actors during World War II, including Clark Gable, Bette Davis, Audie Murphy, Carole Lombard, James Stewart, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich, John Garfield, Cesar Romero, Bob Hope, Hedy Lamarr, Lionel Barrymore, Jack Benny, Lee Marvin, Harold Russell, Charles Durning, among others. I’ll also have copies of my Forgotten Hollywood Book Series to autograph for interested readers.
